This role involves providing high‐quality servicing and repairs for forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, and a range of Kubota agriculture and construction equipment, both in the workshop and in the field. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining high service standards and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Role description
Join the Kentan Machinery Group as a Service Technician, tasked with delivering servicing and repairs to forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, and a range of Kubota agricultural and construction equipment. This role encompasses effective diagnostic procedures, pre‐delivery inspections, servicing, major repairs, and light fabrication/welding duties. Additionally, the incumbent will support the Service Coordinator and uphold safety standards.
Responsibilities
* Conduct test operations and utilize efficient diagnostic procedures.
* Perform pre‐delivery inspections, timely servicing and major repairs.
* Execute light fabrication/welding duties on various components.
* Uphold high service standards aligned with industry policies.
* Assist the Service Coordinator and ensure a secure working environment.
Qualifications
* Hold an automotive or plant mechanical repair trade certificate.
* Have a minimum of two years of mechanical or similar work experience.
* Demonstrated ability to multitask and meet deadlines under pressure.
* Professional demeanour with excellent communication skills.
* Basic computer literacy and possession of a valid NSW driver's licence.
