What you'll do
* Support person-centred plans that identify a customer's life goals and work to achieve them
* Support customers in daily living skills such as meal preparation, housekeeping, showering, toileting and medication administration
* Ensure positive behaviour support plans are followed
* Administration duties and mandatory reporting
What you'll bring
* Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships
* Willingness to assist with personal care and domestic duties experience
* Ability to follow Person Centred plans and assist people to achieve their goals and outcomes
* An understanding and enthusiasm for working alongside people with disabilities
* Ability to manage complex or difficult situations as they arise with patience and maturity
* A valid drivers licence and willingness to use your private vehicle (aligned with genU motor vehicle allowance rebate)
* Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability or Higher [CHC33015, CHC33021, CHC43121, CHC43115]
(You'll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don't worry, we'll help guide you through this.)
