Job Title: Experienced Hospitality Cook
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced cook to join our team in a permanent full-time capacity. As a trade cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality and nutritionally balanced food for our patients and functions in our large kitchen.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparing bulk food efficiently and according to requirements
* Assisting with the general operation of the kitchen
* Stock control management and ordering
* Quality control and meeting food safety (HACCP) requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
* Food Handlers Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
* Recent experience in a commercial or bulk cooking environment
* A positive attitude and professional manner with the ability to work well under pressure
* Knowledge of hygiene and food safety standards
