This role offers a unique opportunity to lead and/or work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team across the project lifecycle, delivering various and significant NSW, Australian and international water and wastewater projects.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Civil or Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering small, medium and large-scale projects, providing technical guidance and support to the project team.
Key Responsibilities
* Delivering various and significant NSW, Australian and international water and wastewater projects (either networks or treatment plants)
* Providing technical leadership and project management to guide key projects and mentoring other team members
* Using your technical and client relationship skills for the delivery of proposals, investigations and technical design projects
* Understanding client and project technical requirements, assisting to develop solutions, and preparation of technical reports, designs & specifications, client proposals and presentations
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships, including business development, and engagement throughout project delivery
* Working closely with our clients to develop innovative technical solutions in wastewater and water treatment
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
* 8 or more years of relevant water or wastewater experience in either networks or treatment plants
* The ability to lead and/or work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team across the project lifecycle
* Strong client relationship skills, project management skills, and experience in preparing winning proposals
* Design or planning skills in water or wastewater networks or treatment, including producing technical reports, developing engineering drawings, specifications and tender documentation for water or wastewater treatment infrastructure
* Experience with using civil or hydraulic design software is preferable
* Project management or design management experience, together with a willingness and ability to mentor and provide direction to junior staff
