Established in 1981, SNAICC – National Voice for our Children is the national non-government peak body for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children. SNAICC's vision is that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, young people and families are protected, our communities determine their own futures, and our cultural identity is valued. We work to amplify the voice of community and the sector for the fulfilment of the rights of our children.

SNAICC plays a key role in the following areas:

* Research and policy development, with high-level leadership, policy and sector representation

* Training and resource design, development and delivery including topics such as early childhood development, partnerships, family support, trauma, and cultural competency.

* Support for sector development, membership, and networking.

* Full Time – 76 hours per fortnight

* Fixed term – 2 Years
* Location – Flexible (Melbourne preferred)
* Salary – $117,792 - $123, % super & salary packaging options

The Position:

Working under the direction of the Business Systems Manager, the Business Systems Project Officer plays a key role in supporting SNAICC in implementing, improving and maintaining streamlined, compliant business systems. This position contributes to organisational efficiency by coordinating system enhancements, supporting change management processes and ensuring that staff are equipped to use business systems confidently and effectively. A proactive problem solver with strong technical capabilities, excellent communication skills and the ability to support staff with varied levels of digital literacy. The Business System Project Officer is an analytical thinker who can translate operational needs into practical system solutions, ensuring alignment with SNAICC policies, data integrity requirements, and continuous improvement practices.

We are looking for someone who:

* Broad knowledge and understanding of issues impacting upon Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families, and commitment to the rights, needs and aspirations of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and families.
* High technical knowledge and experience in the administration of Microsoft environments such as Sharepoint, One Drive, Entra, Azure, and Power BI.
* Clear understanding of data management processes and security, including the Australian Privacy Principles and Essential 8.
* Is familiar with the principles of Indigenous Data Sovereignty.
* Ability to create technical documentation to outline digital solutions.
* Preferred administrative experience with Qlik.

* Undergraduate Degree and/or a minimum of 5 years of systems creation/management experience.
* Working with Children Check
