Kindergarten Teacher - Thornhill Village
Aspire Early Education & Kindergarten Thornhill Village is seeking an experienced and passionate Kindergarten Teacher to lead our 4-Year-Old Kinder program.
We are specifically looking for a strong and experienced Kindergarten Teacher who can confidently lead the kindergarten room, mentor and support newer graduate teachers within the service, and build strong relationships with children and families within our community.
About the Role
As the Kindergarten Teacher, you will take the lead in delivering a high-quality educational program that supports children's learning, development, and school readiness.
You will play an important role in curriculum planning, documenting children's learning, completing transition statements, and creating engaging learning environments aligned with the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF).
This is a full-time position working rotating shifts between:
* 8:30am – 4:30pm
* 9:00am – 5:00pm
* 9:30am – 5:30pm
About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
* Full or Proficient VIT Registration
* Previous experience leading a 4-Year-Old Kindergarten program
* Strong understanding of school readiness and completing Transition Learning & Development Statements
* Confidence mentoring and supporting less experienced educators
* Strong knowledge of the VEYLDF, EYLF, and National Quality Framework
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with children, families, and colleagues
* Current First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis qualifications (or willingness to obtain)
* Current Working with Children Check
