Our operating hours for our nurse are Flexible between Monday to Friday, 8 am – 5 pm.
Qualifications & Experience
* Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Adaptable and open to change and innovation
* Current CPR certificate
* Previous experience in General Practice
* Knowledge of childhood and adult immunisations
* Experience in chronic disease management
* Computer skills (experience with Best Practice is highly desirable but not essential)
* Ability to multi-task and manage workflow in a treatment room
Tasks & Responsibilities
* Patient triage and management - Medicare, DVA, Work Cover
* Administer immunisations and other injections
* Perform ECGs, spirometry, and ear syringing
* Conduct wound management procedures and assist GPs during minor surgeries
* Develop care plans, conduct health assessments, and support patients with chronic illnesses
* Sterilize equipment
* Conduct pre-employment assessments, audiometry, and spirometry
* Support reception staff as needed and more...
