Join Our Dynamic Procurement / Planning Team.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a central role the Procurement / Planning Team at Foodlink Australia. We are looking for an individual with FMCG FOOD experience.
This role will be responsible for ensuring optimal inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing holding costs. This role involves forecasting, stock replenishment, supplier coordination, and maintaining accurate product and system data to support operational efficiency and reporting accuracy. The ideal candidate will combine strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Inventory Planning and Replenishment:
• Monitor stock levels across multiple locations and ensure timely replenishment to avoid stock-outs or overstock situations.
• Develop, review, and maintain inventory forecasts based on historical data, seasonal trends, and promotional activities.
• Manage & Maintain communications to Key internal business units on all Inventory and Supplier Out of Stocks, including maintaining the product Substitution list and Supplier OOS list
Data Maintenance & Administration
•Maintain and update product master data, supplier information, and pricing in ERP or inventory management systems.
•Support reporting by providing accurate and up-to-date information for sales, purchasing, and finance teams.
•Implement and enforce data governance standards and best practices.
Collaboration & Communication
•Liaise with suppliers, sales, procurement, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth inventory operations.
•Provide inventory and data insights to management to support decision-making.
•Participate in cross-functional projects related to supply chain, product launches, and system upgrades.
