Job Title: Tutor
A tutor position is available at our school, where you will play a key role in supporting the improvement of wellbeing, readiness for learning, resilience and behaviour management.
* Support the education team to remove barriers to learning and promote positive learning behaviour.
* Lead classes during PPA and absence cover, with planning supported by teaching staff.
* Deliver enrichment golden time activities and support lessons with academic understanding or pastoral needs.
The ideal candidate will have a strong basic education, with a minimum of GCSE Grade C or equivalent in English Language and Mathematics, and sound IT skills. Previous experience in a similar role and some experience working with pupils with SEMH are also essential.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Strong basic education with GCSEs in English Language and Mathematics
* Previous experience in a similar role (e.g., HLTA)
* Experience working with pupils with SEMH
* Sound IT skills
