Marian Catholic College is a co‐educational secondary school located in Griffith, New South Wales. The college has around 700 students and has recently opened a new Technological and Applied Studies Centre.
Your New Role
The Classroom Teacher plays a key role within the school. The Teacher is responsible for assisting with the implementation of the vision for learning and well‐being, including following College structures and procedures regarding students' academic and pastoral progress. The Teacher needs to facilitate collaborative processes that build positive learning relationships, shared commitment and a sense of achievement. As a member of a Key Learning Area and team, it will be essential to work with the KLA Leader, Head of Learning and Teaching and the Principal in meeting the learning goals of Marian Catholic College.

Selection Criteria
* An understanding of and commitment to the mission and purpose of Catholic Education.
* Professional qualifications in teaching and learning and specific KLA areas required.
* Demonstrated ability and expertise in developing and implementing flexible and innovative programs designed to support learning.
* Demonstrated ability to foster positive professional relationships with students conducive to improved learning outcomes and the development of academic achievement.
* An ability to work as part of a cohesive team and contribute positively to staff professional culture.
* Effective communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
* Demonstrates an understanding of NESA and Diocesan policies and protocols and school procedures.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and develop effective documentation on school and system platforms.
* Current Working with Children Check and NESA Accreditation.
* Accreditation for Teachers in a Catholic School (Category B, Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead in Systemic Catholic Schools, Catholic Education Diocese of Wagga Wagga) or working towards Accreditation.
