You'll receive competitive salary and benefits. Position overview The Business Analyst provides business analysis services to Bureau's initiatives and projects. The focus of this position is to work closely with the business to gain in-depth understanding of the business strategy, processes, services, roadmap, information systems, processes, services and the context in which the business operates. This role will be key to understanding business processes from end-to-end to identify operational, financial, and technological risks. Responsibilities will include a full range of project activities and assisting project managers on larger more complex projects related to operational business functions that affect team members and providers at the market level. Periodically the role will work with the BA Capability Lead to undertake a review of the existing portfolio of inflight projects within their domain and propose a plan to uplift requirements to support delivery of those projects. Ongoing the role will work with Business Engagement Leads to review scope/ draft business requirements to support Idea Proposals and Business Cases within their Domain Area. They may be required to support projects that do not have dedicated delivery BAs, coaching SMEs/PMs to undertake requirements documentation and traceability. The key duties of the position include The responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to: Responsible for the investigative work to determine requirements and specify effective business processes, through improvements in information systems, information management, practices, procedures, and organisation change. Responsible for analysing and monitoring of website performance, optimisation of website and mobile content and structure and enhancement of user experience including design, usability and customer journey analysis and mapping, to inform digital development. Collaborates with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring alignment with Agile methodologies and digital delivery processes - across the lifecycle of a project ensuring the business needs are delivered etc. Identify, create and facilitate process design changes by conducting business and systems process analysis and design at a complex level; focusing on quality improvement and data management; ensuring data is reliable and valid; developing process improvements or re-engineering and recommending elimination; integrating new systems and processes with existing ones; and partnering with internal and external customers to ensure systems provided meet the long-term business strategies. Provide and support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognising and capitalising on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organisational changes and new responsibilities. Support the development of business cases, defining business need and potential benefits, options for achieving these benefits, associated business risks, and ensuring subsequent project delivery traces back to the original business case. Facilitating collaboration with peers across the organisation; articulating ideas and viewpoints to senior management, peers and others; supporting project delivery to the project portfolio pipeline in line with digital delivery processes; and holding self and team accountable for results.
