We are seeking applications for a full-time experienced Clinical Support Manager for our AdventCare Whitehorse facility located in Nunawading. AdventCare is a 'not for profit' organisation offering aged care that embraces Christian values and provides a home for people requiring all levels of care. The organisation is highly regarded in the community

To be considered for this role you will have:

· Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent. • Current AHPRA registration (no conditions).

· Current CPR and First Aid certificate.

· Broad knowledge of the Aged Care Industry, current Aged Care Act requirements and Quality Agency Standards.

· Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.

· Minimum three years' experience in Aged Care, preferably in residential and / or community setting in a relevant supervisory or management level position.

· Demonstrated experience, knowledge and understanding of ACFI instrument, ANACC assessments, care planning, and validation procedures.

· A strong commitment to excellence and continuous quality improvement with a sound working knowledge of quality principles and accreditation.

· Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office Packages with a high level of proficiency.

· Ability to effectively communicate verbally and non-verbally with residents living with dementia and/or where English is a second language.

· Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships with key stakeholders and take actions to meet customer needs.

· Demonstrated high level leadership, including strong skills in conflict resolution, negotiation, and continuous improvement.

· A demonstrated ability to lead, guide, supervise and support employees with a sound understanding of best practice principles.

· Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to interpret data, make an informed decision and take appropriate action within a timely manner.

· Skills, knowledge and ability to undertake complex assessments for new admissions and reviews of care plans.

· Demonstrated ability to delegate effectively and to stay informed of progress.

· Computer literacy including the ability to use clinical databases and reporting systems.

· Exceptional time management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks within stringent timeframes.

· Well-developed people management skills with the demonstrated ability to coach staff towards improved performance and manage people issues effectively.

· Well-developed written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage and share information effectively.

· Commitment to supporting diversity and inclusion of both residents, their families, our employees and volunteers; demonstrating respect and valuing differences regarding age, disability, race, nationality, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, intersex status, and family or marital status.

· Ability to provide advice, develop options, problem solve, analyse risks, make decisions.

· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and lead a team to develop a positive and resilient work culture.

· Ability to develop and foster positive working relationships.

· Self-motivated and keen to learn and develop professionally.

· High degree of discretion and independent judgement.

· Resourceful and have practical common sense.

· Flexible attitude and a hands-on approach.

· Ability to listen, consider other opinions and have mature conversations.

· Tertiary qualifications in management or further education in aged care management.

· Cert 4 in Workplace Assessment and Training.

· Previous experience in Team Leadership.

· Proficient in using electronic clinical software, including AutumnCare and Electronic medication management system BestMed.

· Advanced nursing qualification in gerontology, palliative care, dementia and/or advanced care planning.

* Per EBA and AdventCare Contract of Employment.
* Position subject to a successful Police Check/NDIS, including a timely re-application before 3 years. Employees of AdventCare must notify the Facility Manager if there has been a change in police record status at any time before the renewal date of police check, particularly if there has been a conviction recorded that would preclude work in Aged Care.
* Provide up to date immunisation record including 3rd Covid-19 Booster and current Influenza Vaccination.
