The Clinical Nurse Educator - Surgical Wards position plays a pivotal role in facilitating the development of nursing and ancillary staff within the health care team.
Key Responsibilities
* To plan, promote, coordinate, implement, and evaluate education programs in the clinical inpatient surgical ward.
* To work closely with the Nursing leadership team to support evidence-based and patient-centered care.

The ward's patient cohort includes Orthopaedic, ENT, Plastics, Gynaecology, and general surgical specialties.

Appointment Details
This is a fixed-term, part-time day worker position, working 48 hours per fortnight, commencing from July 25 until July 26.
Hours are negotiable with the successful applicant.
This selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full-time, part-time, and casual vacancies for a period of 12 months from the date of publication.
Salary and Benefits
The salary range for this position is $114,851 to $121,886 per annum (pro rata).
An employer contribution of 11.5% superannuation is provided.
In addition, postgraduate allowances and salary packaging options are available.
A range of leave entitlements, including study leave and professional development support, are also offered.
Eligibility
Suitable applicants will hold registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.
Desirable qualifications include relevant postgraduate qualifications or those currently working towards them.
