The Department of Home Affairs is seeking a dynamic technology architecture professional to lead the development of complex architecture in one or more ICT infrastructure domains. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing ICT infrastructure solutions, artefacts, roadmaps, patterns, standards, and strategies for current and emerging technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead architecture design for specified infrastructure domains (Storage, Compute, Network, and enabling Platforms) in collaboration with multi-disciplinary groups across business and ICT
* Identify, design, and develop ICT infrastructure solutions, artefacts, roadmaps, patterns, standards, and strategies for current and emerging technologies
* Provide architecture advice and guidance to technical teams to ensure the designed infrastructure solutions are in line with business and technical requirements, and align with Well Architecture Framework, standards, patterns, and compliances
Requirements:
* Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline or field
* Demonstrated ability or experience in designing solutions for one or more infrastructure platforms (compute, storage, network, platforms)
* Knowledge and experience in one or more technologies such as Microsoft 365, Collaboration platforms like MS Teams, Contact Centre solutions, developer frameworks, and End user computing design
