About the Role
We currently have a rare opportunity to join our team as a Campaign Coordinator, actively supporting the Promotions Manager in creating and activating innovative campaigns that drive profitability and enhance ratings while meeting marketing and communications objectives.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, setting up, activating, and reporting on all station promotions.
They will coordinate with Content/Sales teams to craft listener-focused campaigns that are on brand, timely and within budget.
Regularly liaising with internal teams to discuss opportunities, ideas and communicate upcoming campaigns is also key to this role.
Additionally, they will ensure internal stakeholders—Content Director, announcers, digital, and other team members—are briefed on campaign requirements.
Maintaining accurate promotional documents, templates, trackers and calendars will be an essential part of this job.
Prize sourcing and fulfilment, including winner coordination and communication, will also fall under their responsibilities.
Assisting in writing proactive promotional proposals and reactive responses for sponsorships is also required.
Closely coordinating activities of the Street Team to ensure smooth execution of promotional events will be crucial.
Operating broadcast equipment to support live or recorded segments when required will be necessary.
This role requires close collaboration with the Promotions Manager to ensure seamless execution of all promotional activities.
About You
A minimum of 1 year in a similar environment—radio, TV or media promotions preferred.
Marketing or event management qualification is highly regarded.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams is essential.
Highly accountable and able to juggle multiple tasks, deadlines and stakeholders simultaneously.
Strong financial literacy with experience using trackers, reporting and analysing results.
A positive, energetic team player who takes pride in representing the WAVE brand.
