Summary
Our client DESCOM Consultant is seeking to add an ICT Customer Support Officer to support its growing operations across Western Australia. With more than a decade of experience in the construction industry, the company has built a strong reputation for reliable building and pest inspection services.
Responsibilities
* Provide day-to-day systems support across internal business applications and technical infrastructure.
* Administer and maintain CRM systems to support operational efficiency and customer service activities.
* Monitor workflow systems and resolve user issues affecting business operations and reporting.
* Maintain automation systems and troubleshoot integration or processing failures promptly.
* Provide website and hosting support including updates, monitoring, and technical issue resolution.
* Respond to user support requests and provide timely technical troubleshooting assistance.
* Assist with infrastructure maintenance including hardware, software, and peripheral device support.
* Diagnose software and hardware faults and recommend suitable technical solutions for users.
* Install, configure, and maintain software applications across business systems and user devices.
* Support efficient use of computer applications, equipment, and internal workflow technologies.
* Maintain accurate technical records, support documentation, and system configuration details.
* Assist with implementing and maintaining secure and reliable computer network environments.
* Coordinate with external service providers regarding hosting, software, and infrastructure support matters.
* Provide guidance and technical assistance to staff regarding ICT systems and operational processes.
Qualifications
* Relevant AQF Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Information Technology, systems support, or a related discipline.
* Minimum two years of relevant experience supporting CRM systems, workflow platforms, infrastructure, and technical support environments.
* Demonstrated experience supporting CRM platforms, workflow systems, and internal business technology environments within professional service organisations.
* Strong technical troubleshooting skills across software, hardware, website hosting, and automation support environments and business systems.
* Ability to manage competing technical support priorities while maintaining responsive and professional communication with internal users.
* Experience maintaining infrastructure, peripheral devices, and user applications within fast-paced operational and customer-focused environments.
* Sound understanding of systems administration, software configuration, and maintaining reliable day-to-day ICT operational performance.
* Ability to provide clear technical guidance and user support to staff with varying technical knowledge levels.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to maintain accurate technical documentation, workflows, and support service records.
