Your Role As a Contract Manager – Interface Specialist, you’ll be a key point of contact for the Project Commercial & Cost team, providing expert contract management, commercial governance, risk management and strategic contractual advice across major project delivery packages. You’ll: Lead end-to-end contract lifecycle management, ensuring compliance with legal, commercial and organisational requirements. Provide strategic contractual advice to project teams, supporting effective contract administration, claims management, variations, extensions of time and dispute resolution. Manage contractual interfaces across multiple project delivery packages to minimise risk and maximise project outcomes. Monitor contract performance, identify emerging risks and opportunities, and provide reporting and recommendations to project leadership. Champion Marinus Link’s interests through effective stakeholder engagement, negotiation and relationship management with contractors and project partners. Develop and maintain contract management plans, procedures, templates and governance documentation. Lead continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to contract management best practices across the organisation. Support and mentor contract administration team members to deliver high-quality commercial outcomes. Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements and industry standards. Assist project delivery teams in identifying, managing and mitigating contractual, commercial, operational and supply chain risks. Comprehensive knowledge of commercial management and governance requirements for major capital projects. Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Law, Construction Management or a related technical discipline. Strong understanding of contract management principles, risk management and commercial dispute resolution. Demonstrated ability to negotiate positive commercial outcomes and resolve complex contractual issues. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly articulate contractual rights, obligations and commercial positions. Proven ability to build effective relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels. Experience working within regulated environments and complex project delivery structures. Desirable: Experience managing Incentive Target Cost (ITC) contracts. Experience in project cost control and performance reporting. Knowledge of the regulatory frameworks relevant to major infrastructure and energy projects. Experience using InEight, TeamBinder or similar Electronic Document and Records Management Systems (EDRMS). Experience managing project and contractor documentation, drawings and document control processes. A high level of computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and document management systems.
