This role will play a key part in shaping the future direction of our recruitment division.
The Opportunity
As Head of Ochre Recruitment, you will provide leadership across our recruitment agency operations nationally, driving team performance, commercial outcomes, operational consistency and recruitment strategy. You will oversee recruitment consultants and para consultants across multiple desks while working closely with operational, credentialing and workforce teams to ensure a seamless recruitment experience for both clients and candidates.
Key Responsibilities Recruitment Leadership & Performance
* Lead, mentor and develop recruitment consultants across multiple healthcare recruitment streams
* Drive a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration and commercial outcomes
* Oversee recruitment activity, contract management, pipeline management, placement performance and delivery outcomes
* Support recruiters with complex client and candidate negotiations
* Monitor team KPIs, conversion metrics, desk profitability and operational efficiency
Commercial & Business Growth
* Identify opportunities for growth across existing and emerging healthcare workforce markets
* Build and maintain strong relationships with health services, hospitals and key stakeholders
* Contribute to business development initiatives, client retention and strategic partnerships
About You
* You are an experienced recruitment leader who understands the operational realities of medical recruitment
* You are commercially astute, operationally minded, and capable of balancing strategic thinking with hands‐on leadership
* Previous experience leading within a healthcare, medical, nursing or allied health recruitment agency environment
* Strong understanding of temporary workforce, agency or locum recruitment models
* Proven success managing high-performing recruitment teams
* Strong commercial acumen and experience driving recruitment growth
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
* Experience working in fast-paced, high-volume recruitment environments
* Ability to lead operational change and improve recruitment processes
* Confidence working across both strategy and day-to-day recruitment operations
