Overview
Liverpool City Council is seeking passionate Diploma Trained Early Childhood Educators to join our team and support the Early Childhood Teacher in the design, implementation and evaluation of high-quality inquiry-based educational curriculums for children attending our services. Council owns and operates six Early Education and Care Centres and two Preschools across the LGA. Our services are rated as National Quality Standards, and we value a positive, inclusive, motivated and collaborative workplace culture.
Responsibilities
* Support the development of curriculum and learning environments under the guidance of an Early Childhood Teacher.
* Foster strong nurturing relationships to encourage curiosity, critical thinking and a love of learning.
* Contribute to planning, documentation and evaluation of educational programs.
Qualifications
* Diploma of Children's Services.
* ACECQA-approved child protection training.
* First aid certificate (essential).
* Detailed knowledge of child development and contemporary early childhood education theories/approaches.
* Understanding of Early Childhood Regulations.

Position Details
Location: Warwick Farm, Holsworthy & Hinchinbrook. Type: Permanent Full-time (38 hours per week, 5 days).
Salary: $64,584.53 to $69,917.94 per year plus 12% super.
