Registered Psychiatric Nurse
to join our dynamic inpatient mental health team. This permanent opportunity offers a chance to expand your skills in a supportive and progressive environment. You'll work alongside experienced professionals committed to trauma-informed, person-centred care and recovery-focused practice.
Conducting comprehensive mental health and physical assessments
Monitoring responses to psychotropic medications and other therapeutic interventions
Engaging therapeutically with consumers and providing psychoeducation to both consumers and their families
Contributing to a safe, least restrictive, and trauma-informed environment
Delivering nursing care aligned with best practice and organisational policies
Maintaining accurate documentation and upholding clinical governance standards
Selection Criteria
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Previous experience in mental health Nursing
Postgraduate Diploma, or Masters in Mental Health Nursing (highly desirable but not essential)
