The Opportunity

We are seeking an exceptional Director, Commercial & Marketing – B2C to lead our end-to-end commercial and customer growth strategy across our consumer portfolio.

This is a pivotal executive role responsible for driving sustainable revenue growth, customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value across direct and partner channels. Sitting at the intersection of commercial leadership, marketing, digital innovation, and regulatory accountability, you will shape strategy while delivering outstanding, customer-centric outcomes.

Our B2C portfolio has reached $100M GWP, spanning well-known brands including Insure & Go, Tick, and All Clear, distributed via digital, contact centre, aggregators, and affiliate partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

* Develop and execute a multi-year B2C commercial and marketing strategy aligned to organisational goals and market opportunities
* Contribute as a key member of the Leadership Team to broader business strategy and planning
* Provide strategic insights and performance reporting to the CEO, Executive Committee, and Board
* Lead transformation initiatives to strengthen growth, customer experience, and competitive positioning

Commercial & Revenue Growth

* Own and deliver revenue growth across all B2C channels
* Drive customer acquisition strategies aligned with target market and governance requirements
* Partner with underwriting and actuarial teams to lead pricing strategy
* Identify, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships to expand distribution and revenue streams

Marketing & Customer Growth

* Lead the full B2C marketing function, including brand, digital, CRM, and partnerships
* Deliver integrated, multi-channel campaigns across the customer lifecycle
* Optimise marketing performance using data-driven insights (ROI, CPA, CLV)
* Leverage customer and market insights to inform continuous improvement

Digital, Data & Technology

* Oversee optimisation of digital platforms including CMS, CRM, quoting, and payments systems
* Champion marketing technology, automation, CRO, and advanced analytics
* Ensure strong data governance and compliance standards
* Drive innovation, including leveraging emerging AI capabilities

Product Distribution & Customer Outcomes

* Oversee compliant product distribution aligned to regulatory frameworks (including TMD)
* Ensure customer-first decision-making across all touchpoints
* Evolve brand positioning, value propositions, and customer journeys

Financial & Operational Leadership

* Manage budgets, forecasting, and financial performance for the function
* Deliver reporting and insights to senior stakeholders and the Board
* Oversee third-party and outsourcing arrangements
* Ensure a fit-for-purpose operating model and governance structure

People & Culture

* Lead and develop a high-performing, multi-disciplinary team
* Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and customer focus
* Build capability and leadership depth within the function
* Role model organisational values and compliance standards

About You

You are a commercially astute, data-driven executive with a proven track record of leading B2C growth in complex environments.

You bring:

* Extensive executive leadership experience across commercial, marketing, or revenue functions
* Strong strategic capability with experience delivering multi-year growth outcomes
* Deep expertise across digital marketing, brand, CRM, and partnerships
* Strong commercial acumen across pricing, distribution, and partnerships
* Experience in regulated industries (financial services or insurance highly regarded)
* Strong understanding of risk, governance, and compliance frameworks (e.g. FAR, TMD)
* Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, including influencing at Executive and Board level
* A passion for building high-performing teams and driving a customer-first culture

Regulatory Requirements

* Accountable Person under the Financial Accountability Regime (FAR)
