About the role
Join the dynamic team at H1 Healthcare as a Senior Allocator - Staffing. In this full‐time role based in Port Melbourne, VIC, you will play a pivotal part in engaging with clients, identifying upcoming staffing needs, securing shifts, and ensuring the right staff are allocated quickly, effectively managing the allocation of staffing resources to ensure seamless execution of our clients' staffing requirements. The role combines both strategic and operational elements, making it an excellent opportunity for an experienced recruitment professional looking to further develop their career.
What you'll be doing
* Proactively secure and confirm shifts across clients and their sites
* Facilitate the efficient allocation of appropriate staff to meet client orders
* Liaise with internal teams to understand and anticipate staffing needs
* Manage the rostering and scheduling of staff to optimise coverage and utilisation
* Monitor and report on staffing metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
* Collaborate with the broader recruitment team to ensure a consistent, high‐quality service delivery
* Contribute to the development of processes and systems to support the allocation function
What we're looking for
* At least 2 years' experience in a similar staffing or allocation role, ideally within the Disability, Aged or Dental industry
* Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and allocate resources to meet operational demands
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
* Excellent problem‐solving skills and a solutions‐focused approach
* Proficient in using recruitment and rostering software
* Strong relationship‐building and communication skills
* Comfortable engaging directly with clients to secure shifts
* A collaborative team player with a passion for delivering exceptional service
