Position Overview
Operate and Assist We have an opportunity for aQuarry Operatorto join our team atClarence Quarrylocated within the Blue Mountains nearLithgow, New South Wales. Reporting to the Quarry Supervisor this is a permanent full‐time role, working Monday to Friday with ample opportunity for overtime and potential Saturday work.
Responsibilities
* Operate mobile equipment including Dump Trucks, Front End Loaders and Excavators.
* Operate the sand washing plant.
* Conduct general fixed plant inspections & maintenance.
* During busy periods, pitch in and perform any/all quarry tasks where needed.
Qualifications
* Valid tickets and experience (preferred) operating a Loader, Dump Truck and Excavator.
* Total commitment to Zero Harm and Safety Leadership.
* Strict adherence to fixed and mobile plant pre‐start & maintenance procedures.
* Ability to work in a small team and unsupervised.
* Professional work ethic with a "can do" attitude.
Benefits
* Base hourly rate from $35.54 and up to $39.35 – pending qualifications & experience + overtime rates + super.
* Shifts start at 6am and working 8‐10hours, on average; usually a 4pm finish.
