The opportunity
Reporting to the Delivery Lead, this 12‐month role based at the West Perth office will be responsible for the end‐to‐end delivery of sustaining capital projects across the Pilgangoora and Ngungaju operations. The role ensures safe, cost‐effective, and timely execution of brownfield projects, including shutdown and online works.
Key responsibilities
* Lead end‐to‐end delivery of sustaining capital E&I projects across brownfield environments, from design input through execution, commissioning and handover
* Review E&I designs and engineering deliverables to ensure constructability, operational alignment and compliance with relevant standards
* Manage scope, schedule, budget, procurement and project risks to achieve safe, cost‐effective and timely delivery
* Lead tendering, contractor engagement and contract management to support efficient delivery of shutdown and online works
* Work closely with operations, maintenance, engineering and site teams to minimise disruption and ensure smooth project handover
* Provide strong leadership across project activities with a focus on safety, quality, environmental compliance and continuous improvement
About you
* Degree‐qualified in Electrical Engineering (or similar), with strong technical expertise across HV, LV and instrumentation systems
* Proven experience delivering sustaining capital or brownfield projects in mining, processing or heavy industrial environments
* Able to review engineering designs, develop practical scopes of work and translate plans into safe, executable project outcomes
* Strong contractor management, stakeholder engagement and communication skills across operations, engineering and site teams
* A strong focus on safety, quality, risk management and compliance, with a proactive and solutions‐focused approach
* Leadership, ownership and accountability for project outcomes; experience in commercial, contract or project management is highly desirable
