Palmer Coolum Resort is looking for full‐time Licensed Security Officers to join our team. The successful candidate will work nights and weekends on a set roster, helping maintain and secure the facility through patrols, CCTV monitoring, and security reporting.
Responsibilities
* Monitor CCTV and conduct regular patrols of the Resort.
* Check and secure gates.
* Provide a security service in line with Palmer Coolum Resort SOPs and requirements to protect employees, property, and other assets.
* Complete shift/patrol reports as directed.
* Respond to emergencies, alarm events, and provide necessary support.
* Understand and apply WHS and emergency response management procedures.
* Resolve conflicts effectively.
* Potential opportunity to move into other roles within the Security team as the Resort becomes operational.
Requirements
* Current and valid Security License.
* No criminal convictions.
* Ability to work independently, self‐aware, motivated, and as part of a team.
* Punctual and reliable.
* Proactive while maintaining discretion and confidentiality.
* Previous security environment experience and/or security awareness training.
* Current First Aid, CPR, and RSA certificate.
