Job Description
The Artisan Store Fremantle is seeking a casual retail gallery assistant, 2-3 days a week, with the flexibility to do occasional additional days as required. We are looking for someone sophisticated, mature, bright, pro‐active, detail oriented, and strong aesthetic, with strong communication skills. The ideal candidate is someone with a passion for all mediums of art who has great customer service skills and is tech savvy.
Responsibilities
* Manage sales.
* Receive artists' works, manage stock control and inventory.
* Deliver and maintain our high customer care standards.
* Maintain visual merchandising standards with an eye for detail.
* Multi‐task and balance customer care with other duties.
* Work independently as well as part of a team, maintaining clean shelving and products.
* Demonstrate initiative and challenge yourself in your work.
* Photograph artwork.
* Manage gallery website (WooCommerce, Photoshop, WordPress, Google Merchant).
* Maintain and update mailing lists (Outlook, Mailchimp).
Preferred Skills
* Photography skills and experience with web e‐commerce.
