A significant portion of our practice includes representing legal and medical practitioners in high-stakes disciplinary and malpractice matters.
We are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and experienced Legal Secretary to join our close-knit, high-performing team on a full-time basis.
In this pivotal role, you will provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to one of our Principals and to the wider team. This position is ideal for a genuinely strong administrator who thrives on keeping workflows organised, moving, and running smoothly.
What you'll be doing
* Providing comprehensive email, diary and calendar management for a Principal and allocated lawyers
* Preparing and formatting legal documents and correspondence with a high attention to detail
* Coordinating client meetings, conferences, and travel arrangements
* Handling incoming calls, emails, and other enquiries in a professional and efficient manner
* Maintaining electronic and paper-based filing systems
* Liaising with clients, courts, and other external stakeholders as required
* Assisting with general office administration tasks as needed
What we're looking for
A minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Legal Secretary or in a similar professional administrative role is required.
Candidates must demonstrate experience in legal secretarial work or other professional administrative roles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook is essential, with Lexis Affinity experience preferred although training will be provided.
Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required for this position.
Candidates must be Australian citizens to be eligible for this position.
