What You'll Do
As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer (Instrumentation & Control Systems) in Gladstone you'll contribute to projects and programs that support the future of the Qld Industrial Business. You will make a real difference and be part of a team that embraces challenges, welcomes diverse ideas, and engineer solutions with people and outcomes in mind.
* Lead the design and delivery of instrumentation, control, and communication systems across complex industrial projects
* Act as a trusted I&C technical specialist, advising on system architecture, integration, and best practice
* Collaborate across electrical, mechanical, and process teams to deliver seamless, multidisciplinary solutions
* Mentor and develop less experienced engineers, building team capability and technical excellence
* Oversee project delivery, managing schedule, budget, quality, and risk
* Build strong client relationships and contribute to winning and growing project opportunities
What You'll Bring
* Relevant engineering qualifications in Electrical Engineering
* RPEQ (Electrical) or ITEE equivalent
* Minimum 10+ years' experience in electrical engineering, with a strong focus on instrumentation
* A track record of delivering practical, impactful outcomes
* Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills
* The ability to see the big picture and challenge assumptions
