Overview
Providing outstanding dog grooming services in-store, driving salon profit and sales, achieving and exceeding sales targets, coordinating salon operations with store managers, and assisting shop floor team when needed.
Responsibilities
* Providing outstanding dog grooming services in store.
* Drive the profit and sales success of the salon, achieving and exceeding sales targets.
* Coordinate the salon and client bookings in conjunction with the Store Manager.
* Assist store shop floor team when required, providing exceptional customer service.
* Maintain specific breed clips, consistently upholding grooming standards and brand/product knowledge.
* Manage and coach junior groomers.
* Create a strong safety mindset, fostering a culture of safety within your team.
Qualifications
* Experience in a similar role or a senior groomer ready to take a leadership step.
* Ability to create and embed strong safety practices throughout the salon and store.
* Good knowledge of specific breed clips and commitment to maintaining grooming styles and brand/product knowledge.
* Physically fit, able to lift heavy animals as required.
* Demonstrated experience in handling and working with live animals.
* Maintain advanced understanding of zoonotic and skin diseases and how to identify them.
* Proven ability to exceed grooming KPIs through high‐quality care, customer satisfaction, and strong team collaboration.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively engage with customers and team members.
* Strong attention to detail.
