Core Responsibilities The Art Director is responsible for designing and delivering digital content for LEGO commerce.
Working with creative direction, you bring ideas to life, solving marketing challenges to ideate and design best in class brand expressions and experiences across e commerce, digital marketing, email, and digital retail.
Design digital marketing content that delivers a premium and memorable experience for shoppers and consumers.
Taking direction from ACDs and Seniors on the creative brief, create designs across marketing levers and for execution across digital channels.
Participate in brainstorm sessions with the creative team to develop concept proposals.
Develop content that solves business problems and meets marketing objectives with thoughtful tactics and compelling design.
Present designs in a clear and compelling manner; articulating and defending creative direction choices; collaborate and iterate based on feedback from cross functional partners.
Collaborate across the team with Project Managers, Strategist, Copywriter, and the Creative team to meet campaign milestones and deliverables.
Communicate and collaborate with UX designers and web developers.
Ensure a high standard of visual execution across all work and within all brand guidelines.
Stay on top of industry trends, design technology, and new marketing platforms.

The Art Director plays a key role in creating, designing, and delivering campaigns and experiences at the highest quality with efficiency.
Do you have what it takes?
Design experience, with at least 1-2 years of experience in art directing internal and external teams.
Experience designing for global brands.
Portfolio must reflect strong technical and design skills.
Must be an expert level in the following applications: Figma, Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects) and Microsoft Office.
Proven track record of delivering bold, effective campaign content across digital mediums: e commerce and experiential.
Provide: A link to an online portfolio showcasing relevant work.
Ability to self direct, context shift, and prioritise work assignments.
Strong communications skills and an ability to present work intelligently and concisely in internal reviews and in stakeholder meetings.
A deep understanding of the creative development process and ability to consistently deliver excellent design based on a working knowledge of what goes into successful marketing campaigns.
Comfortable working in a fast paced environment with multi discipline teams.
Experience working remotely with teams in other locations and time zones.
Experience with agencies preferred.
Experience with retail / retailer marketing a bonus.
