To learn more please visit www.serco.com/ahsc About the Role In this role you will work as a part of a multidisciplinary team within a health centre setting supporting the diverse mental health needs of military members. Referrals will come from a variety of sources; the member, medical team and Command, offering diversity in presentations and support requests. The support you will offer begins with initial intake and assessment with flexibility to accommodate presenting need. There is scope for the use of psychometrics and engagement in treatment that capitalises on your skills, interests and scope of practice. You will have autonomy to manage your caseload including oversight and case management of externally referred cases and the provision of internal treatment to Defence members. Additionally, your management of crisis presentations, risk assessment and risk management planning is supported within a multi-disciplinary team. To be successful in this role, you will have: The highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour. Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Minimum 2 years post graduate experience in the last 5 years in mental health in a primary health or specialist mental health setting undertaking comprehensive mental health assessment and delivering a range of evidence based 'Focussed Psychological Strategies' as defined under the Medicare Schedule. Recent participation in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activities in accordance with AHPRA. Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification. Knowledge of relevant State/Territory policies and procedures and national standards governing mental health practice (desirable). Knowledge of the ADF Mental Health and Wellbeing Strategy 2018-2023 (desirable). About Tobruk Clinic Tobruk Clinic is located within a sub-area of the Holsworthy Barracks precinct, and operates under the technical and health support of Holsworthy Health Centre. This secure clinic primarily provides outpatient health services to 2 Commando and associated special forces units. Its standard operating hours are 0730-1530 Monday-Friday.
