We're partnering with anational infrastructure delivery groupknown for shaping complex, large-scale civil and energy programs across Australia.
They're seeking aProject Controls Engineerto join their Brisbane-based team and play a key role in driving performance across some of the country's most critical projects.
The Opportunity
This role sits at the intersection of engineering, commercial, and project leadership.
You'll be the link between the numbers and the narrative — turning raw data into clear, actionable insight that helps teams make better, faster decisions.
From schedule development to cost tracking and performance forecasting, you'll influence how projects are delivered and ensure timelines and budgets stay on course.
What You'll Be Doing
Building, updating, and interpreting complex project schedules for large civil and energy infrastructure programs.
Tracking performance metrics, identifying trends and providing early visibility on project risks and opportunities.
Creating data-driven dashboards and progress reports that give stakeholders absolute clarity.
Liaising with construction, engineering, and commercial teams to ensure all project milestones are met.
Contributing to the ongoing development of project controls systems, processes, and reporting frameworks.
About You
You're someone who thrives on structure, logic, and collaboration — equally comfortable behind the data and in front of senior stakeholders.
You're inquisitive, analytical, and passionate about helping projects succeed.
A degree or diploma in Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
At least four years' experience inproject controls, planning or cost engineeringwithin civil or infrastructure projects.
Strong working knowledge ofPrimavera P6,MS Project, andExcel or Power BI.
Excellent analytical and communication skills, with a focus on accuracy, clarity, and results.
A proactive mindset — you anticipate issues before they become problems.
