Job Overview
Ayers Rock Resort is seeking a Sous Chef to live and work onsite at Yulara, NT, located 20 minutes from Uluru.
The ideal candidate holds a Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery and has experience in 5‐star restaurant operations. The Sous Chef will oversee kitchen operations, maintain quality and profitability, assist the Head Chef, and develop training programs for staff.
Key Duties
* Assist senior chefs with menu planning, inventory control, scheduling, and ordering of kitchen supplies within the Pastry Kitchen and Bakery.
* Work closely with the Executive Chef to ensure the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently.
* Undertake all kitchen and service duties, including cleaning, food preparation, cookery and guest service.
* Assist chefs with all sections of the kitchen as required by the Head Chef.
