The Opportunity
We're hiring DIDO (Drive in / Drive out) Utility / Cleaners from the Rockhampton region and nearby suburbs on a 2/1 roster. The successful candidate will perform a variety of tasks, including housekeeping, kitchen hand duties, dining room service and tavern operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Maintain a clean, welcoming and safe environment for village residents.
2. Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet service standards and exceed customer expectations.
3. Uphold safety, cleanliness and operational efficiency in all areas of responsibility.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a remote setting or the hospitality industry (preferred).
* Unrestricted work rights in Australia.
* A valid police check issued within the last 3 months or be willing to obtain one.
* A Queensland Coal Board Medical and Functional Assessment.
* A Standard 11 surface mining induction or willing to obtain.
* A Safe Food Handling Certificate desired.
* An RSA Certificate desired.
* A Driver's License / Photo ID required.
* A Forklift License desired.
* Reliable means of transportation to and from site.
* Demonstrate a proactive, solutions-focused approach with excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills to ensure smooth operations.
