Employment Type

Full Time, Part Time and casual opportunities available.

Position Classification

Dependent on qualifications.

Remuneration

$73,427.00 – $113,226.00 per annum (+ super +17.5% leave loading where applicable)

Hours Per Week

Up to 38 hours per week.

Location

Young Community Mental Health, Young CMHAOD team, collocated with Young Health Service.

What You’ll Be Doing

This clinical position involves the provision of assessments, evidence‑based treatment and case management services to adults referred to the service with psychological disorders and psychiatric illnesses. The role is based within a multidisciplinary community Mental Health team and accepts responsibility and accountability for the provision of quality and safe care for people with a mental illness, disorder or dysfunction, or who are experiencing emotional difficulties, life transition, distress or crisis. The position also involves the provision of mental health crisis intervention services to individuals of all ages (when rostered, on‑call and/or shift work as part of a 24‑hour 7‑day roster).

Criteria

- Relevant qualification and registration as listed in the classifications of the position description
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency for Registered Nurses, Psychologists; eligibility for membership of the peak body professional association (eg AASW)
- Compliance with Vaccination Category A
- Class C driving licence

This is a NSW Health Category A position which requires immunisation and screening for certain diseases. The full list of requirements are outlined in the NSW Health OASV Policy (Page 11).
