Electronic System Specialist Job Overview
We are seeking skilled and experienced electronic system specialists to contribute to the defence of the nation and a sovereign Australian industry capability.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining electronic equipment, including understanding system features and capabilities, assessing and diagnosing problems, and developing solutions as required.
* Apply technical skills necessary to perform maintenance on electronic equipment.
* Understand system architecture and functionalities to enable prompt assessment and diagnosis of problems and develop solutions as required.
* Develop and execute project plans to meet objectives.
* Collaborate with engineering teams to report problems, develop solutions and provide feedback.
* Support peers by contributing to the development of and assisting with the assembly, installation and testing of equipment.
This position requires a minimum of Certificate III Electronics or Communications and 3+ years experience in electronic system fault finding and diagnostic skills. A Negative Vetting Level 1 Security Clearance is also required.
