Position Summary:
As a Repair Technician skilled in electronics and mechanical systems, you will be responsible for the diagnosing, repairing, calibrating, and maintaining of a wide range of Plastic Welding Tools and Testing Equipment. This hybrid role combines hands‑on technical work, with estimation and sales support, helping to build trust and deliver solutions that meet our clients' needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a wide variety of Plastic Welding Tools and associated electronic and mechanical equipment.
Prepare detailed repair quotations, including parts, labour, and lead‑times.
Communicate effectively with customers to explain diagnostics, repair options, and costs.
Support the quoting process by evaluating incoming equipment or customer specs.
Maintain accurate records of service work, quotes, and parts used.
Collaborate with the sales and service teams to follow up on open quotes and customer inquiries.
Adhere to safety protocols, certification standards, and internal quality guidelines.
Qualifications:
Technical Certification in Electronics, Mechatronics or related field.
Minimum 2–3 years of hands‑on repair experience (electronics, mechanical or both).
Proven experience preparing or assisting with technical sales quotes.
Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills.
Familiarity with test tools, hand tools, and technical schematics.
Proficiency with MS Office and quoting or ERP systems is a plus.
Solid verbal and written communication skills.
Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, and customer‑service focused.
Preferred:
Previous experience with both power tools and electronics.
Background in industrial, medical, or commercial equipment repair.
