About the Job:

Metricon Homes is seeking a driven, experienced and productive Drafting Manager to manage the Drafting team's production of all customer drawings.

* Lead and support the Drafting Team and remote resources to produce all drawings and plans.
* Develop and foster a team culture that is positive, collaborative and reflects a can-do attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

1. Managing the production of drawings for Preliminary Contracts, Contracts, Variations and FC's daily.
2. Liaising with the Operation Manager on workflow using applicable reports from the document control management system.
3. Providing support and solutions to the Sales teams to resolve design complications.
4. Working collaboratively with Operations Manager to manage changes in forecasts.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

* Formal qualification in Architecture or Architectural Drafting (Diploma of higher) as minimum requirement.
* Minimum of 10 years drafting experience, preferably within the volume residential building industry.
* Competent in the use of AutoCad/Revit, and Enscape is preferred.
* Minimum 3 years (management/supervisory) of people management in a fast paced, time critical customer-oriented environment.
