About the Role
As the DFV and VAN Crisis Service Clinical Coordinator, you will provide advanced clinical, strategic, and educational leadership across integrated crisis services in rural and regional Emergency Departments.
You’ll Play a Key Role In
- Strengthening frontline capability by training and mentoring health staff in identifying and responding to DFV
- Coordinating consistent pathways for DFV screenings, disclosures, and crisis responses
- Providing expert consultation on complex cases
- Supporting the implementation of Safer Pathways across the district in partnership with the Integrated DFV and Crisis Service Program Lead
Where You’ll Be Working
You’ll join the District Violence, Abuse and Neglect (VAN) Team. Your base location is versatile, with options across Maitland, Tamworth, Manning, Armidale, or Moree, and travel within the district is part of your role.

About You
- Demonstrated leadership experience and a high degree of professional judgement
- High level interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills; ability to problem‑solve
- Must hold a degree in Social Work, eligible for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
