The Role
We are seeking a skilled Anaesthetic Registrar/Senior Registrar to join our dynamic department at Alice Springs Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality perioperative care in a unique and rewarding clinical environment.
This role offers a wide range of opportunities, including delivering comprehensive anaesthetic services across elective, emergency, and obstetric lists. Additionally, you will participate in ICU and emergency support when required, supervise and mentor junior medical staff and medical students, and contribute to teaching, safety, and quality improvement initiatives.
* Deliver high-quality anaesthetic services to patients in various settings.
* Provide supervision and mentorship to junior medical staff and medical students.
* Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to patient safety and quality improvement.
About You
* You must be eligible for registration with AHPRA.
* Relevant experience in Anaesthesia is essential.
* Strong communication and cultural awareness skills are required.
* You must have a strong interest in education, Indigenous health, and service improvement.
