We're looking for a proactive Project Manager to lead workforce development initiatives across the aviation, maritime and rail sectors as part of the Queensland Government's Industry Skills and Jobs Advisor (ISJA) Program.
This is a unique, purpose-driven role where you'll connect industry, government and training providers to ensure Queensland has the skills needed for tomorrow.
The Role
* Build trusted relationships with employers, small businesses and industry bodies.
* Lead industry reference groups and provide evidence-based advice to government.
* Identify workforce trends, skills gaps and training needs – and turn insights into action.
* Prepare reports and recommendations that influence real outcomes.
* Partner with the ISJA for Road Transport & Warehousing to align projects across sectors.
* Work flexibly – from Brisbane or remotely – with travel across Queensland as required.
You'll Bring
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
* Proven project management experience with the ability to plan and deliver outcomes.
* Understanding (or interest) in aviation, maritime or rail sectors.
* Excellent writing, analysis and presentation skills.
