What you'll be doing
As the Administration Officer, you will provide efficient and professional administrative support to the Rehabilitation Outpatient and Spasticity Clinic. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth coordination of outpatient services while delivering exceptional customer service to patients, families and staff.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage referrals, waiting lists, bookings and appointment scheduling
* Maintain accurate patient records and data entry across multiple systems
* Provide frontline customer service to patients, visitors and clinicians
* Support billing, reporting and general administrative processes
* Assist clinical teams with day-to-day coordination and communication
Qualifications and Experience
* High level customer service skills.
* Effective interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with patients.
* Excellent time management and organisation skills with attention to detail.
* Ability to carry out a range of operational and administrative activities under general direction and close supervision, with discretion to determine appropriate methods and sequencing of tasks.
* Understanding of the management of patient complaints and patient privacy.
* Ability to work flexibly and efficiently within a multidisciplinary team environment.
* Efficiency in the use of Health Care Records Management software including iPM, Powerchart.
* Computer proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite.
