Associate Nurse Unit Manager - Nhill Acute

We are seeking passionate Registered Nurses to join our Acute ward in Nhill as an Associate Nurse Unit Manager.
Multiple styles: ongoing and fixed term roles, part‐time (64 hrs per fortnight) and full‐time options are available. Please email for further details.
* Award: Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Health Sector) Single Interest Employer Enterprise Agreement 2024‐28.
* Classification: YW11 (RN ANUM Year 1) – YW12 (RN ANUM Year 2).
About the role
* The Associate Nurse Unit Manager/Registered Nurse works collaboratively with the Director of Nursing/Nurse Unit Manager of the facility.
* They work with the multidisciplinary team to facilitate and foster the provision of best practice standards of nursing care to patients, their families and carers.
Key Selection Criteria
Essential:
* Effective communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to problem solve and make decisions in a variety of complex situations.
* Minimum of 3 years' experience in clinical care.
* Excellent understanding of iCare, ACFI and the Aged Care Quality Standards (aged care facilities).
* Excellent understanding of the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards (acute facilities).
* Registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Desirable:
* Postgraduate qualification in acute care nursing, emergency nursing and leadership would be highly regarded.
Prerequisites
* NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
* Working with Children Check.
* Fully vaccinated (including influenza) as per current Department of Health Directives.
* Australian Driver's Licence.
