Overview
AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. You'll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles to deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers.
The Data Center Capacity Delivery Asia-Pacific Controls Deployment and Service (DCCD APAC CDS) team delivers and services control systems that monitor and ensure the health of our data centers. APAC CDS covers three core disciplines of controls deployments, projects, and service, with five additional supporting disciplines in colocated controls, systems, fleet, on-call support, and governance.
Key Responsibilities
* Deploy and maintain critical systems: Install, upgrade, and troubleshoot BMS and EPMS systems across multiple data centers, ensuring optimal performance through diagnostics, programming, and hardware maintenance.
* Execute technical projects: Manage installations from server provisioning to sensor calibration, supervise contractor work, and ensure all activities meet AWS safety and quality standards.
* Drive operational excellence: Provide commissioning support, conduct root cause analysis, create system documentation, and follow change‐management processes to maintain system integrity.
* Enable team success: Mentor facilities teams on system operations, collaborate with vendors on Factory Witnessed Tests, and recommend design improvements based on operational insights.
* Deliver reliable service: Respond to emergencies, manage on‐call rotations, oversee service agreements, and prioritize work through ticketing systems to maintain data center availability.

Basic Qualifications
* 4+ years of data center engineering experience
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
* Knowledge of network design and layout as well as low‐voltage (copper/fiber) cabling
* Experience in data center engineering or operations
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in relevant work
* Can bend or twist the body into unusual positions while working
* Can use hands to manipulate small wires and objects
* Can walk on job sites in uneven terrain
