About the Role
The Alumni Digital Engagement Manager leads the strategic development and delivery of UTS's digital alumni engagement activity to strengthen lifelong connections with alumni and support Alumni & Philanthropy priorities. This role drives data‐informed digital campaigns, storytelling and audience engagement at scale, supporting pride, connection and participation across the global alumni community.
Role Responsibilities
* Lead the development and delivery of digital alumni engagement strategies and campaigns.
* Oversee digital storytelling and content production, including video and multimedia.
* Lead initiatives to grow, reconnect, understand and engage alumni audiences using data‐informed approaches.
* Manage and develop staff, casuals and suppliers supporting digital engagement activity.
* Partner with internal stakeholders to align alumni engagement with university priorities.
* Use analytics and insights to monitor performance and refine digital engagement strategies.
* Support best practice use of digital systems, CRM data and engagement tools.
Skills, Attributes and Knowledge
* Strong strategic and analytical capability, with the ability to use insights to drive engagement outcomes.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including digital storytelling.
* Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
* Proven people leadership and project management capability.
* Creative, innovative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
* Deep understanding of digital engagement and communications practices.
* Knowledge of CRM systems, digital platforms and performance metrics.
* Awareness of governance, privacy and brand considerations in digital communications.
Experience
* Significant experience leading digital engagement or communications campaigns.
* Experience managing digital content and storytelling across multiple channels.
* Experience using analytics and audience data to inform strategy and measure success.
* Experience managing staff, suppliers or project teams.
* Experience working in a complex organisation, ideally within higher education, alumni engagement or a related environment.
Qualifications
Relevant postgraduate qualification, or an equivalent combination of education, training and extensive professional experience.
What We Offer
Base Salary Range: $120,827 - $137,609 (HEW8) plus 17% superannuation (pension)
The position is full time and will be made on a continuing basis.
