Jagcor is a multi-disciplined and progressive construction services company with active operations across Australia.The main focus of Jagcor is delivering quality civil construction projects to the mining, oil and gas and infrastructure sectors.Jagcor prides itself on our 3 main pillars, culture, safety and quality.The RoleJagcor is looking for an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to facilitate the expanding operations of Jagcor's construction and concrete supply divisions.This a great opportunity building on your experience, you will be working on a wide range of plant including but not limited to Gensets, Light Vehicle's, Truck mounted concrete boom pumps, mobile cranes, excavators, skid steer loaders, telehandlers, wheel loaders, wheel rollers, water carts, tipper trucks, prime movers, dollies, semi trailers etc.The role is for a Heavy Diesel Fitter for maintenance and repairs of our plant & equipment at our workshop in Hope Valley.The person we are seeking will be a dynamic self-starter with strong communication skills and the ability to contribute to the team in a positive and proactive manner.You must also demonstrate a proven work ethic, and a good general understanding of how a maintenance department runs and be able to coordinate tasks in a busy environment.You will be required to meet deadlines and work under pressure.Reporting to the Workshop Manager you will be part of a team that thrives on performance.Must be capable of passing a Pre Employment Medical including a LABDAS drug and alcohol test.The Benefits Excellent remuneration and great culture with a focus on safety.We seek to provide a workplace that empowers and encourages innovation.Preferred but not essential :Previous experience preferred in repairs and maintenance of construction plant and equipmentExperience in heavy haulage transport vehicles - prime movers, trailers, dollies etcRepair scheduling and coordinationCurrent C Class Driver's LicenseHR and Plant Operator tickets preferred but not essentialPlease note only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.All applications will be handled in the strictest confidence.
