About the role
This is a leadership role where you'll drive growth through advanced marketing automation, data‐led strategy and personalised customer engagement across the full lifecycle from acquisition through to retention and loyalty.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, Customer Engagement & Brand, you will own and deliver a best‐in‐class lifecycle marketing strategy, underpinned by Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC). You'll lead a team of specialists while acting as the internal Product Owner for SFMC, shaping the platform roadmap and enabling scalable, insight‐led customer journeys across multiple channels.
Responsibilities
* Develop and execute a data‐driven lifecycle marketing strategy to grow customer value and engagement
* Own and optimise Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including roadmap, governance and performance
* Lead and develop a high‐performing marketing automation team
* Deliver end‐to‐end campaigns across email, SMS, push and digital platforms
* Drive customer engagement, personalisation and journey orchestration at scale
* Use data and insights to continuously improve performance, conversion and retention
* Partner with cross‐functional teams including Product, Data, Technology and Risk
* Ensure all marketing activity meets compliance, regulatory and brand standards
Qualifications
* 10+ years' marketing experience, with strong lifecycle and CRM expertise
* Proven leadership experience building and coaching high‐performing teams
* Deep expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) and marketing automation platforms
* Strong understanding of customer data, segmentation and omnichannel engagement
* Commercial mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
* Experience working in complex, regulated environments (financial services advantageous)
