Atlas Fuel Forrestfield Pty Ltd trading as Atlas Fuel Forrestfield is seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Manager to oversee the daily operations of its busy fuel station and convenience store located in Forrestfield, Western Australia. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing retail operations, supervising staff, maintaining customer service standards, and supporting the continued growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Determining product mix, stock levels, and customer service standards for the fuel station and convenience store.
* Managing inventory and purchasing of fuel, beverages, snacks, tobacco products, grocery items, automotive products, and other retail merchandise.
* Implementing promotional, pricing, and marketing strategies to increase sales and customer engagement.
* Supervising daily operations of the fuel station, convenience store, and forecourt to ensure efficient workflow and service delivery.
* Monitoring fuel inventory, stock rotation, supplier orders, and merchandising displays.
* Maintaining records of stock control, financial transactions, cash handling, and banking activities.
* Undertaking budgeting activities and monitoring sales performance and operational costs.
* Recruiting, training, supervising, and rostering retail staff and console operators.
* Managing customer enquiries and resolving complaints in a professional and timely manner.
* Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety requirements, fuel handling procedures, and company operational policies.
* Overseeing opening and closing procedures, daily reconciliations, and end-of-day reporting activities.
* Maintaining cleanliness, presentation, and safety standards throughout the store and forecourt areas.
Requirements
* Minimum 1 year of experience in a retail management or fuel station management role.
* Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and manage multiple operational responsibilities.
* Experience in stock control, staff supervision, budgeting, and customer service management.
* Knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations and retail operational procedures.
* Relevant qualifications in retail, business, or management will be considered advantageous.
