* Summary: Manage procurement, production scheduling and logistics to ensure that noise‑wall, retaining‑wall and bridge projects are delivered on time and on budget. Use your negotiation and supply‑chain expertise to lead a small team supporting construction projects across Australia.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, this permanent full time role manages end to end procurement and logistics for our civil construction projects. Duties and responsibilities include:
• Source & negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quality materials and services at the best value.
• Plan, monitor & coordinate production activities and project schedules to ensure on time manufacturing and delivery.
• Manage purchase orders, supply chain & logistics, including all freight and stock control, to maintain optimum inventory levels.
• Support project and site teams by ensuring timely delivery of materials, equipment and services across multiple construction projects.
• Compile and organize quality assurance documentation to support ITPs, QA records, and project specific requirements.
Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
• Strong procurement and negotiation skills with the ability to build solid supplier relationships.
• Excellent planning and coordination capability to manage multiple schedules and stakeholders.
• Practical knowledge of construction supply chains and logistics, preferably within civil infrastructure.
• Leadership and communication skills to collaborate across teams, subcontractors and senior management.
• A tertiary qualification in supply chain management, engineering, construction management or a related field is desirable.
