Who we are looking for
* A friendly and reliable volunteer who enjoys casual conversation and is a good listener
* Interested in men's hobbies, history, sport or just some good general banter
About the role
* One-to-one visits and/or small group engagement with some of our male residents
* Assist residents to participate in hands‐on activities aligned to their interests and abilities whilst taking the time to have a good chat
* With no one day being the same, you could be participating in woodworking projects, group discussions or sharing your own experiences and hobbies helping bring joy and a meaningful impact to our residents' wellbeing

Commitment
Regular - more than 6 months
Training
Volunteers undertake online Infection Control and Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards training. All volunteers receive an orientation at site prior to commencement and further training when required.
